Privacy Policy

Last updated June 26, 2026

Nexus Insurance Brokerage ("Nexus," "we," "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect when you use this website or contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information We Collect

Information you give us: your name, contact details (phone, email, ZIP code), and any information you share when you complete a form, request a checklist, book a call, or speak with us, such as your age range, coverage goals, and household or financial details relevant to a quote.

Information collected automatically: basic usage and device data through cookies and analytics tools, such as pages viewed and general location, used to operate and improve the site.

Information from social and advertising platforms: when you submit a lead form through a platform such as Facebook or Instagram, that platform shares the information you entered, such as your name, email, and phone number, with us.

How We Use Your Information

To respond to your request, prepare insurance quotes, schedule and conduct consultations, and service any policy you choose to place through us.

To send you the materials you request, such as a checklist, and, where you have consented, relevant educational and marketing communications. You can opt out of marketing at any time.

To operate, secure, and improve our website and services, and to meet legal and regulatory obligations.

How We Share Information

With insurance carriers and their underwriters, as needed to obtain quotes and place coverage you request.

With service providers who help us operate, such as our customer relationship and scheduling platform (LeadConnector / HighLevel), email and SMS providers, and analytics providers, all bound to protect your information.

With advertising platforms such as Meta, to measure and improve our advertising as described in "Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising." Where this includes contact details, the information is hashed.

When required by law, regulation, or valid legal process, or to protect our rights and the safety of others.

We do not sell your personal information for money. Some sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" under certain state laws; you can opt out using the controls above or by contacting us.

Communications Consent (TCPA)

By submitting a form or otherwise providing your phone number, you agree that Nexus and its licensed agents may contact you at that number by phone call, text message, and email, including through automated technology, about insurance products and services. Consent is not a condition of any purchase.

Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of calls or texts at any time by telling the agent, replying STOP to a text, or calling 813-590-0124.

Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising

We use cookies and similar technologies to run the site, remember preferences, and measure performance. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

We advertise on platforms including Meta (Facebook and Instagram). On certain pages we use the Meta Pixel and Meta's Conversions API. These tools may share information with Meta, such as your activity on our site, technical identifiers, and a hashed (obscured) version of contact information like your email or phone number, so that we can measure conversions, optimize our campaigns, and reach relevant audiences.

On our Medicare educational event pages, meaning the pages where you reserve a seat at a free seminar, we use these tools for one purpose: to measure how many people registered, so we know whether the advertising worked. We do not use Medicare information to build advertising audiences, and we never share details about your health, coverage, or enrollment with an advertising platform. Our general Medicare information pages carry no advertising technology at all.

You can limit these tools through your browser cookie settings, your ad-preference settings on Facebook and Instagram, and industry opt-out tools such as the Network Advertising Initiative (optout.networkadvertising.org) and the Digital Advertising Alliance (optout.aboutads.info).

Data Security and Retention

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, and retain it only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Your Choices and Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you may opt out of marketing communications, by contacting us using the details below. Depending on your state, you may have additional rights; California residents may request the categories of information collected and that we not sell their information (we do not sell it).

Children's Privacy

This site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above reflects the latest version.
